What to Watch The Throne

"What to Watch The Throne" is the Monday segment by CB40 that outlines what teams and players to watch in the coming days.

Hit the jump to see what to watch this week, and what happened last week.

In review, I told you basketball fans to watch the Celtics, the Sixers, and the Knicks, and LeBron James, Jrue Holiday, and Carmelo Anthony. The Celts lost in a squeaker to the Hawks, on a turnover by Rajon Rondo at the buzzer, but closed out the Hawks at home; the Sixers couldn't beat the Bulls at home, but won the series in Game 6 at home thanks to Andre Iguodala's game-winning free throws, and the Knicks lost to the Heat in Game 5 in Miami. LeBron had a 28-8-7 game closing the Kicks, no last shot needed, Jrue Holiday had 16 in the Game 5 loss, and 14 in the closing game, while 'Melo poured in 35 in Game 5, but the Kicks still lost to the Heat. But now on to this week...

Tuesday May 15th:
4:00 PST: Indiana Pacers @ Miami Heat: Will the Pacers get out to a hot start again and hold off the Heat this time? Or will Miami speed up the tempo and beat the Pacers without Chris Bosh?
6:30 PST: LA Clippers @ San Antonio Spurs: Will Chris Paul take a game and upset the Spurs in Game 1, or will the Clippers bench step it up like they did to beat the Grizzlies in Memphis? Will the Spurs continue their hot streak of 14 games in a row?
Wednesday May 16th:
4:00 PST: Boston @ Philadelphia 76ers: Will Boston start to respect Philly more, after two very lackluster performances? And Will Philly's balanced attack continue to hurt the Celts?
6:30 PST: LA Lakers @ Oklahoma CIty Thunder: Will the Thunder run the Lakers, or will the Lakers succeed in slowing the tempo and feeding the beast that is Bynum and Gasol?

Players:
Danny Granger: Granger simply played like shit in Game 1, notching only 7 points on 1 of 10 shooting. If Indiana wants to split in Miami, Granger has to score a lot more, with the complementary players contributing too.
Chris Paul: In what will be an electric matchup at the point, CP3 vs. Tony Parker, how will CP3 play vs. the Danny Green/Kawhi Leonard defensive combination?
Russell Westbrook: Will Westbrook light it up on the offensive end vs. the Lakers' guards, or will Sessions/World Peace/Kobe/whoever stop the quick guard, and force him into tough shots? Because when Westbrook misses a lot, the Thunder do not play very well at all.
