Zach Wiedeman = STATE CHAMP!

The hometown homie and wrestler Zach Wiedeman took the 1A 135-pound state Championship last night in Champaign, IL, capping off a 37-3 season for the senior. Zach is easily the hardest working athlete in CHS, and quite possibly in the state of Illinois. ZWeed may be the best athlete to come out of Canton, finishing his 5th consecutive state appearance (both wrestling and cross country). With the track season coming up I'm sure we could possibly see another march to state from the champ. Proud as hell of you bud.
