Verse of the Day: GhostWridah - "So Alive"

Can I still call it "Verse of the Day" if I miss days? Such a deep, philosophically troubling question. Either way, we're back with more.

After the jump, the verse, words about said verse, and heavily doctored, in no way genuine footage of the Cory Gunz-loaded gun situation.

My heart beats to the sound of the city drum,
I'm going hard my Momma is who I get it from,
Cuz she's a go getta, and I'm a go get it,
Came along way from sweating up in that old civic,
With no gimmicks I did it bigger than most did it,
And I'm enjoying every moment so I coast with it,
In my 20s but I'm sitting on those old digits,
And I got a high-def flow, shit is so vivid,
It's no limits so my tank on full,
I can't relate to make it rain if my bank ain't full,
We don't rate that bull you other wack n-ggas put out,
I'm on another trip like somebody put a foot out,
But no I ain't balling, the end we can't see it,
and if it went down, tonight, then so be it,
At least we had fun and a little bit of laughter,
I'm still getting booked guess I'm on another chapter,
WRIDAH

I transcribed this ish myself, so if there are any mistakes, head to the comment section and let me know in the meanest, most sarcastic way you can possibly muster. Buuuut moving forward, this is your Verse of the Day. It's off "So Alive" from American Alien, an absolute banger with a skying hook from Jase. I don't have much to say today, other than if you thought KWT wasn't still Wriding for Ghost©, you thought wrong. We see a lot of similarities between his hunger and drive and ours, and if you don't remember, he blessed us with a (DOPE) interview a few months ago. Dude dropped 3 projects last year, and his breakthrough is getting closer and closer. With a fresh year ahead of him, rampant label rumors, and plans to drop his debut retail album T.R.O.Y, you know 2012 is going to be good to him. We can't wait.

And, the promised heavily doctored, in no way genuine footage of the Cory Gunz-loaded gun situation.
