After the jump, the verse, discussion, and me wondering why you're still reading and not Googling Jessica Gomes.
I tell em meet me in the bathroom,
I fuck her while the water running,
Her friend knocking at the door,
And she screaming out I'm cumming,
And my youngin in my other room, fuckin up my sheets,
She tell em boy don't grab my hair because you're fuckin up my weave,
I got a hundred bottles, Ciroc boy,
All my jewelry, cold as fuck but I'm a hot boy,
All these stones in my chain make me a rock boy,
And I heard you n-ggas talking money you should stop boy,
I fuck bitches by the group, I get money by the pound,
French Montana on all these n-ggas, ch-ch-ch-ch-chop em down,
Every time I'm in the club these niggas is not around,
Everybody talking money I say prove it not a sound,
White girls gone wild,
We don't judge 'em though, they ain't on trial,
Bad bitches, got 'em on dial,
It's bottoms up but it's going down.
Meek Mill finds himself at a crossroads common to most all heavily-buzzing young guns; he's breaking into the mainstream while still earning praise from the taste-making bloggerati. Sadly, these things never last. As cynical as it sounds, the first single will sound a little too commercial, the album will cement Meek as a mainstream mainstay, and adulation from that upper echelon of rap nerdery will dry up. Don't cry for Meek though, Noz posts don't put food on the table.
LOL U OBVIOUSLY HAVEN'T HEARD HIS MIXTAPE DREAMCHASERS U IDIOT HE IS FAR FROM COMMERCIAL LOL I HATE UNPROFESSIONAL BLOGGERS LIKE U WHO DON'T DO THEIR RESEARCH
ReplyDeleteAND ALSO THAT VIDEO ISN'T EVEN THE REAL VERSION OF HOUSEPARTY LOL YALL ARE SO STUPID
ReplyDelete....you are a fucking clown. Sorry, I don't usually like to get into it in the comment section but fuuck. Did you read what I said? At any point did I say his music was commercial? I was talking about the typical cycle buzzing artists go through. Perhaps reread? I'm really sorry the video didn't meet dopebroddi's high standards for "PROFESSIONAL BLOGGERS" who "DO THEIR RESEARCH" it was the most viewed one I could see.
ReplyDeleteWow...this guy....where to start? It's obviously the official video, it was uploaded by MMG and has "Official Video" in the title. What makes him far from commercial? His song was one of the most overplayed tracks of 2012, he's signed to Rozay's MMG which is one of, if not the most buzzed about rosters in hip hop. I'd say we've done more than enough research to classify Meek Mill as an artist hovering in that grey area between mainstream and underground. I don't like bickering with commenters either, but dopebroddi's a lame.
