So why not highlight a song that's about real-ass shit? The verse, and words, after the jump.
They say that money make the world go round,
and for the right price make your girl go down,
and on the right night when the stars are aligned for a hustler,
it could turn a god-fearing man to a customer,
turn a good girl to a strip pole veteran,
rather push a coupe than be in the hood peddling,
wait let it settle in,
I'm talking bout the cake now,
Hoes getting broke off, and n-ggas having breakdowns,
To make her ends meet she let your friends beat,
and spend it all at the mall on her hair and feet,
but I ain't pointing fingers, I'm only stating facts,
My momma told me the love of money was Satan's trap,
well if that's so I shoulda been to hell twice,
I got a thing for pretty women that smell nice,
a slight fetish for fast cars and fly threads,
what's the motivation for all that,
I tell em
it's the money.
First off, yeah bitch, I did transcribe that verse. Secondly, I love this verse, especially those first five lines. Such a hard opener. Ghost continues to spit the truth, and discuss things other than money, cash and hoes on wax. I can't wait for his debut.
