Jacob Es - "Paranoia" (Remix of Childish Gambino's Heartbeat)

"Say what I mean when I feel this bass..." Jacob Es, from the Boston area, provides us with a little dosage of that deep shit, and damn if it doesn't feel good. The topic? How you can be your own worst enemy in life, through your doubts and anxiety and all those other negative thoughts we have that stop us from chasing what we really want. It's a poignant message, and one that brings to mind a quote I saw a few days ago: "Imagine what you could accomplish if failure didn't exist."

Mr. Es, after seeing his dreams of playing college baseball sidelined by the sting of injury, is on the up-and-up, having opened for such acts Jay Sean, Aer and Mac Miller. Dude turned to making music while he was mired in the lows of depression, so applaud him for turning a negative into a positive. Everyone of us could use music that's a little more like this, and a little less of that whips and chains talk.

Add KWT to Jacob's growing list of believers.
