...Of The Week: June 12th to 18th

...Of The Week is CB40's look back at the past week, including the best dunk, stat-line, clutch play, and blunder of the week.

Hit the jump to see what went on in the NBA Finals...

With two athletic teams in the NBA Finals, the highlights are coming out at a fast rate. With Durant, LeBron, Wade, Westbrook, Ibaka, and others, the athleticism is off the charts. That athleticism leads to dunks, and there were many good ones in the first three games of the Finals. Shout outs this week go to KD, LeBron, and Thabo Sefolosha. To KD, for his dunk on Shane Battier, and his alley-oop finish from James Harden, to LeBron for his and-1 cram (see at 2:50), and to Thabo, for his steal and reverse dunk on D-Wade. But, the award goes to KD, for his huge dunk on two Heat defenders in the Thunder's Game 1 victory.

KD and LeBron headline the HAM award this week too, with LeBron getting the shout out for his Game 3 statline of 29 points, 14 boards and three assists. But, KD came up huuuuge in Game 1, with 36 points, 17 of which came in the fourth quarter, on 12 of 20 shooting, including 4 of 8 on threes, with  8 boards, and 4 assists.

LeBron came up clutch in Game 2, with a nice bank-shot with just over a minute left to put the Heat up by 5, and for sealing Game 3 against the Thunder with two free throws.

As much as I know refs swallow their whistles when time is winding down, but LeBron James fouled Kevin Durant with ten seconds left. I don't want controversy in a key win, but the ref should have made that call, and given KD the chance to tie up the game.
