...Of the Week: May 28th to June 5th

...Of The Week is CB40's look back at the past week, including the best dunk, stat-line, clutch play, and blunder of the week.

Hit the jump to discover the happenings of the last week in the greatest league on Earth...

Dunks were a plenty in this week's NBA Conference Finals, with the best dunks, and games for that matter, coming in the Western Conference. Shout outs this week go to three OKC Thunder players: Serge Ibaka, Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook. Westbrook threw down a huge alley-oop in Game 4, seemingly dunking the ball while still elevating, to Durant for his crowning of two Spurs defenders in Game 3, and to Serge Ibaka, for his sweeping dunk across the lane. But, the dunk of the week goes to Tim Duncan, who posterized Serge Ibaka, bringing back the athleticism of old. Unexpected, vicious, and awesome, as Duncan threw down the hook-like dunk.

Honourable Mentions this week go to Manu Ginobili, who had 34 points, 7 assists, and 6 boards, including 5 threes in the Spurs' Game 5 loss, to LeBron James, who had 32 points with 13 boards, 3 assists and three blocks in a Game 1 victory against the Celts, to Tony Parker, who scored 34 points, with 8 assists, and 3 boards on 16 of 21 shooting in Game 2, and Kevin Durant, who had 36 points on 13 of 20 shooting, with 8 assists and 6 boards. Serge Ibaka also scored 26 points on 11 of 11 shooting, with 3 blocks and 5 boards. But Rajon Rondo had a statline for the ages, in 53 minutes, yes that's the entire game and OT, he scored 44 points, 10 assists, 8 boards, and 3 steals on an unbelievable 16 of 24 shooting, with only three turnover. That is just nuts.

The clutch factor got revved up this week, as the pressure on teams increased, and the superstars thrived. Honourable mentions this week go to LeBron and Kevin Durant. LeBron hit a three (see at 2:530 to tie the game up at 89), and Durant, for no particular moment, just the fact that he had 18 points, 14 straight at one point, in the last 6:33 of the Thunder's Game 4 win. That being said, James Harden gets this award without a doubt, as he hit a cold-blooded, heart-stabbing J in the face of Kawhi Leonard, with four on the shot clock, to make the lead 5 points for the Thunder.

Again, no one screwed up that badly, therefore no Kanye Moment.
