Playlist, Play This: Go N' Kill A F*ckboy

If you're like me, you've noticed this summer is feeling suspiciously Rozay-ish. He, and his camp, have come with the most bangers, and with their release line-up of Dreams and Nightmares, Self Made 2 and God Forgives, I Don't, they are looking like top contenders for summer dominance. In preparation of what I anticipate to be a classic album (consider the quality of the songs you've heard from the album), I've compiled some essential Ross listening. It's heavy on bangers, and I in no way mean for it to be all-encompassing. It's just some dope ass songs you can listen to, which is exactly what any playlist should be.

"Touch N' You" isn't on the list, but it's a ridiculously dope song, and I'm hoping it doesn't go the way of "You the Boss" and end up under-regarded and decidedly a non-hit. Playlist, after the jump.

1.) "Body Count" (feat. Rick Ross)

One of many Ross-Milly team-ups on the disc. These guys make screwface, wave a gun in a dude's grill type music, point blank.

2.) "Holy Ghost" (feat. Diddy)

Despite Diddy's shortcomings, he's actually hot on the Rich Forever tracks, shit-talking or spitting 16s written by someone else. I would welcome a Buggati Boyz album.

3.) "Stay Schemin" (feat. French & Drake)

Almost too big a song for inclusion, but I made this disc for the whip, and I would never choose not to hear Drake's masterpiece of a verse. Shouts out to French too. That shit grows on you.

4.) "Keys to the Crib" (feat. Styles P)

Two dudes that make great music together. Plus, Rozay comes with toooo many quotables. That MMG team talk, right there.

5.) "Triple Beam Dreams" (feat. Nas)

Nas spitting crack, life is good.

6.) "King of Diamonds"

Using your own name as a hook is bawse as fuck.

7.) "Ambition" (feat. Meek Mill & Rick Ross)

Great verses from all the MMG soldiers, but Rozay's is up there with his "Devil in a Red Dress" verse.

8.) "So Sophisticated" (feat. Meek Mill)

Ross sticks to the tried-and-true formula, hoping to snag another hit. We'll see. Either way, this shit sounds BIG.

9.) "Black Magic" (feat. Meek Mill)

This sounds BIGGER. I can't stop listening to this shit. Poof!

10.) "Work" (feat. Meek Mill)

Cruise the whip to work in the morning and bump this record.

11.) "MC Hammer"

One of the records that started the Lex Luger craze. Also, unreal.

12.) "John Doe"

One of my favourite songs from Ross' discography. Honestly, name another rapper that can do his own hooks, and make 'em hot, without singing. Seriously. Yeezy never learned this, Jay neither.

13.) "New Buggati"

Buggati Boyz.

14.) "Rich Forever"

Ross is a poet, that's what motherfuckers don't get. This shit sounds angelic as fuck. JL deserves that sexy ass Sports Illustrated arm candy.

15.) "Bag Of Money"

Initially I had a version without T-Pain, and I played that shit recklessly. However, after rectifying that mistake, I now have a(nother) luxuriously expensive sounding hit on my iPod. Beautiful.

16.) "Retrosuperfuture" (feat. Wizard California)

Ross starts this lyrical tour de force with "The minute I wake up I gotta get high" and doesn't look back from there. Guy is an absolute talent with the pen.

17.) "Hustlin"

Included as a throwback, and because you need a dose of the past, just to remind you how far this man has come. This song still jams, but it's interesting to hear the monster we know now in his nascent stages. Lighter voice, waaaaay poorer writing. However many years later, rhyming Atlantic with Atlantic is still hot.

18.) "You the Boss" (feat. Nicki Minaj)

Shoulda been a hit. Crack music.

19.) "I Love My Bitches"

18 and 19, "Touch N' You" and "So Sophisticated" are all from God Forgives, I Don't. Honestly, there's nothing more to be said.
