Kids These Days - "Summerscent" [Video]

So the usual crew of KWT are huge supporters of the Chicago scene so I thought I would add to this tradition, and offer a group that I have only just discovered. Kids These Days are a combination of The Internet, Syd The Kid, some hip jazz combo, and Robert Johnson (the great blues guitarist). This is a group that consists of some great ensemble action (the horn players are SUPREMELY tasty along with the incredibly talented drummer), a trio of vocalist backup singers, and then the super chill laidback yet charasmatic front-man spitting verse after verse of tasty and complimentary content. Just get hip to all of these guys things. I do not find myself buying much of newcomer's works (just use datpiff) but these guys are worth the 20 plus dollars I dropped a couple days ago, and the hours subsequent to listen to all of it. Here is just a taste.
