Short Dawg - "H-Town" (feat. Propain & Z-Ro)

I've been distantly keeping tabs on Short Dawg since I heard him on No Ceilings standout "Break Up" all those years ago, intrigued to see if he'd live up to the promise of that stellar verse. I'd love to tell you that his moment has arrived, but honestly, it hasn't. Not yet. I'm holding out hope. If he can build that momentum enough where he becomes a priority at Young Money (or at least capable of pushing units), then Birdman's machine can step in and do the rest. That's best case scenario, I'd say.

 

Until then, he's a World Star/Dat Piff rapper, whose videos might unintentionally have you rolling around on the floor in fits. Seriously, the beginning of this is cringe-inducing, but luckily whoever shot this went away from that initial concept, and kept things basic. You'll see what I mean. I felt like KWTers might find the porn-star acting amusing, but more importantly, Propain stomps on the beat and Z-Ro, as is to be expected, kills it. Goddamn, Z-Ro is the king.
