As I begin the treck to delve into more diverse cities and what they have to offer in the hip hop world I came across Nashville's Dee Goodz. A southern kid with big city dreams and aspirations. He has this hometown feel mixed in with Brooklyn producer the Kickdrums' big city style and production value. The two together make some beautiful music reminiscent of an earlier time when hip hop was new to the world.
It is difficult to remember that hip hop exists outside of New York, Chi, and LA. More to come from Nashville as the city continues to thrive.
