Ok lets just clarify one thing from the beginning: yes that is my hero Nas with this kid at what I assume is a post-SXSW concert in which the King was in attendance. The Don has spoken out in regards to Jon Connor a native of Flint, Michigan (also the birthplace of Alabama Running back Mark Ingram Jr., director Michael Moore, jazz musicians Betty Carter and Dee Dee Bridgewater, and influential group Grand Funk Railroad). Honestly, where in the HELL is this place, and what is in the water? Anyways, Nas would end up co-signing Jon Connor in support of his future in the industry. Oh and Roc-A-Fella has been rumored to be following their client's (Nas) lead in recognizing and promptly signing this kid. Either way here are two videos of seriously DOZENS I could have posted to introduce you to young emcee. DO NOT stop with just these videos. Spend some time and research what else is out there, it will be well worth your time.
Obviously I am pretty impressed with Mr. Connor and will likely keep-up with what he is doing in the industry.
